A Busy May 3rd

Today was decided to be a day where everyone who wanted to participate was asked to wear traditional Indian clothing. Shannon and Kristen has purchased saris and wanted to wear them for all to see. Everyone had a great time and many pictures were taken. Here's one of all the ladies in their saris.

Unfortunately, Bob has been very shy around everyone, but here he is. He thought maybe he shouldn't be such a freeloader and was trying to get some work done. He's not fooling me.

An another one of me with all the structural staff. I've been promised another traditional wear day close to the end of my stay. Guess I better get some shopping done.

So, we did our typical Saturday office stuff and afterward we had intended to go back to the apartments. Kristen had shifted apartments when I arrived, so this was supposed to be her housewarming party. During the week, there was drama surrounding our staying in the apartment complex we live in. That's a story for another time. Anyway, as the pizza was being delivered, the society president saw them and said we could not have the party in the apartment. So......back to the office we go. We ended up having a good time. Good food and everyone enjoyed learning and playing Hangman.

That evening the electrical group invited all of us to join the dinner for Shannon and her mom's going away. We went to a restaurant called Food Garage. The food was typical Punjabi. Here's the electrical group afterwards.
